Nordic Journal of Renaissance Studies (NJRS), formerly Renæssanceforum (vol. 1-15), is an interdisciplinary journal which aims at publishing articles on Renaissance matters within every conceivable field and from all subject areas. The term 'Renaissance' is here broadly defined as applying either to the historical period or to the Renaissance as a theme, a subject matter.
Articles are published in Danish, English, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, and Swedish.
The journal is published by Forum for Renaissance Studies at the Universities of Aarhus & Copenhagen. The General editor of NJRS is Camilla Horster. The webmaster is Johann Ramminger, Thesaurus Linguae Latinae (Munich).
Manuscripts received are reviewed by anonymous peers.
